The Scientist: We don’t know anything.

It’s too much, but….

This morning after I got up, I had a cup of coffee. And then went back to sleep for another half hour. Then I walked to lab, and grab one more coffee. For lunch, I had a tuna sandwich and a cup of green tea.

In the afternoon, I walked to the Science Library and got a cup of coffee. Now I can’t sleep and can’t think straight forward. Oh…what should I do?

I’m heating water now….

Book Tag MeMe

I just got a new Tag from K.jommoj about Book Tag. It took me a couple click to find out what it was.

According to jommoj’s post

Rules:
1) Grab the book closest to you
2) Open to page 123, go down to the fourth sentence
3) Post the text of the following 3 sentences on your blog
4) Name the author and book title
5) Tag two people to do the same

I decided to pick a textbook that I used to study last year. I would say it is a BIBLE of CELL BIOLOGY.

Molecular Cell Bilogy Molecular Cell Biology 5th edition

Lodish, Harvey; Berk, Arnold; Zipursky, S. Lawrence; Matsudaira, Paul; Baltimore, David; Darnell, James E.

New York: W. H. Freeman & Co. ; 2003

Although adenine rarely is found in the anticodon wobble position, many tRNAs in plants and animals contain inosine (I), a deaminated product of adenine, at this position. Inosine can form nonstandard base pairs with A, C, and U (Figure 4-28). A tRNA with inosine in the wobble position thus can recognize the corresponding mRNA codons with A, C, or U in the third (wobble) position (see Figure 4-27). For this reason, inosine-containing tRNAs are heavily employed in translation of the synonymous codons that specify a single amino acid. For example, four of the six codons for leucine have a 3′ A, C, or U (see Table 4-2); these four codons are all recognized by the same tRNA (3′-GAI-5′), which has inosine in the wobble position of the anticodon (and thus recognizes CUA, CUC, and CUU), and uses a G·U pair in position 1 to recognize the UUA codon.

Very long sentences!! I would like to give this Jinx (Tag) to Noshka and มิ้ม

Internet addiction disorder

Update
Like I expected, I did not access this blog and other links from this
blog.  The result was I made it.  But there was a
little tricky about this expreiment:
1. I still got e-mails when friends made a comment.  Thus I
wasn’t really disconnect to the blog.
2. I didn’t use wordpress, but I still accessed internet.

Old post…
I think I’m having an Internet addiction disorder. What it is?? According to wikipedia.com

- A need for markedly increased amounts of time on Internet to achieve satisfaction.
- anxiety
- obsessive thinking about what is happening on the Internet
- Internet is often accessed more often or for longer periods of time than was intended.
- A great deal of time is spent in activities related to Internet use

I also have a Blog addiction.

The experiment
I will try not check this blog for a week.   And see how I feel.

Gone crazy about iPhone for two days

I woke up early (not for other people) on Tuesday to catched a two-hour live coverage on MacWorld 2007.  I went to three websites, www.engadget.com, www.macrumorlive.com, and freemac.net (Thai webbord).  Even it’s only text-based live coverage and some pictures, I was still exciting.

The Apple TV and iPhone was introduced by Steve jobs.  The iPhone is amazing good (revolutionize a mobile phone).   I felt like i couldn’t get enough information.  I browsed around the web (even the same website) on and on for two days.  I was hoping their will be more info.

Finally, I’re tried and stopped.  Went back to study!!
